Rules

Last updated: May 17, 2026. These rules explain what users can expect from MIKIAT and what behavior is not allowed.

Short Version

Use MIKIAT for personal anime discovery and tracking. Keep your account secure, respect other people, and do not abuse the app, providers, or AI features.

Account Rules

  • Use a valid email address and keep your login credentials private.
  • Do not access another person's account or attempt to bypass authentication.
  • You are responsible for the watchlist entries, notes, ratings, and profile settings you save.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the service to harass, impersonate, spam, scrape, overload, or disrupt other users or systems.
  • Do not upload or save illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or rights-infringing content in profile fields or notes.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, attack, or probe the app, database, email system, or AI usage controls.

Public Profile

  • Your profile is private unless you enable the public profile option.
  • If public profile is enabled, people with the profile link may view the information exposed on that page.
  • You can turn public profile sharing off from your dashboard.

AI And Third-Party Data

  • AI suggestions can be inaccurate and should be treated as recommendations, not guarantees.
  • Anime metadata may come from third-party providers and can change or contain errors.
  • Daily AI limits may be applied to keep the service available and control cost.

Service Changes

  • Features may be changed, limited, suspended, or removed for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.
  • Accounts that abuse the service or violate these rules may be limited or removed.
  • These rules may be updated. Material changes should be communicated in a reasonable way.

Privacy

Personal data handling is described in the privacy policy. The privacy policy is informational; it does not replace consent where consent is legally required.
